Here’s how we get jiggy with it.
When we work on any project together, we’ll follow this general process.
Discovery
We’re gonna get real cozy with one another as I learn about your book and what you’re looking for. I hope you like answering questions, because I’ll have a lot for you. Then we’ll get into some research for what’s working in your genre.
Design
I’ll shoot some initial design ideas your way and make sure we’re on the same page. We’ll move forward with any other needed elements, like artwork, and start really building your project. This is where it gets exciting!
Delivery
Delivery is simple. You’ll give your timeline upfront so I can get you what you need, when you need it. Your professional designs will be wrapped up in a complete package, and always on schedule.

How long does a book cover design take?
This really depends on the complexity of the cover design. If we’re working with photography or stock imagery, you can count on an average of two weeks. If we need to commission an artist to create your cover art, plan on at least six weeks. But don’t worry - we will always work with your timeline and agree on terms before beginning work.
When can we start work?
This is dependent on my current workload and availability. If you’re curious about my timeline, shoot me a message and we’ll work out something that fits with your needs.
What if I don’t love the finished product?
This is often a fear I hear for authors looking for help with cover designs especially. My number one goal is to have a design that you not only love, but that also looks professional and stunning. I want you to know that I’m an expert in listening to your needs, defining your style and tastes, and translating that into reality for your story.
Do you offer payment plan options?
We break up your payment via a 40% down payment, and a 60% final payment upon delivery.
Do you only work with indie and self published authors?
It’s no secret that even traditionally published authors are often responsible for their own marketing materials and websites. Heck, they often have to handle their own promotions! I am stoked to work with any and all authors who need my help. Think of me as your personal Ben Kenobi.
